Lady Riders will soon find fashions that exist at the crossroads of “Perfect Fit” and “Inspiring Styles” with the new lifestyle brand for lady riders “Blazen Spirit”.

It was only a few moments into our first planning session of the clothing brand, now known as Blazen Spirit when the first feedback from our Los Angeles based fashion designer, Megan Charboneau came to me. She asked me upon sending some very detailed design ideas, “have you done this before?” Truth was, I had not. Other truth was design and remodeling real estate was my best success with creativity other than making my first quilt at age 28 years old, and it placed 1st in a group of 30+ quilts in small town USA, Fulda, IN.

I once did a clothing store business plan in high school. I ran the numbers and had the brick and mortar store overhead calculated, I just didn’t think it would work. The math didn’t add up.

E-Commerce and global trade options today, in 2024 make the impossible completely possible.

Being a lady rider since 2009, I was like a lot of lady riders, it wasn’t a big deal to wear a jean jacket, jeans and boots and jump on for a 90 mile ride day.

How could a lady rider not experience issues with fit and style? The main selection for lady riders of styles often were big brand names with traditional skulls, angel wings and black in color.

When it came to size, even myself as a size 14, I often found purchasing custom men’s riding clothes was just the best option I had. I am 5’5” and 190#, I had some issues with finding pants. Riding pants, riding jeans were all hard to find in any retail environment. I honestly didn’t know riding jeans were available, much less blue jean chaps until I was nearly 10 years into riding street bikes.

I wanted to look cool, and I knew being safe was important. In 2022, I made it known the brand name was mine, the name “Blazen Spirit” by purchasing the domain. Ironically, my maternal grandmother instilled creativity with coloring, and we also were raised with beautiful horses and one was named “Blaze”. She was a beautiful blonde horse who was as majestic as she was calm. These two memories helped me form this entity with purpose and gratitude for such special memories of my past.. I hope you enjoy my creativity, as much as I enjoy using it!

Time can surely go fast, motorcycles always remind me to live for today, tomorrow isn’t promised. The adventure, the time spent alone in silence, the reason to be a hooligan for the day were all motivators for spending time on my steel horse.
