Kevlar® reinforcement is used in select garments to help improve abrasion resistance in areas more likely to experience road contact during a slide. Kevlar works best as part of a system that includes proper fit and armor.

Cordura® is a durable, abrasion-resistant textile commonly used in touring and adventure gear. Blazen Spirit incorporates Cordura® for its ability to handle long miles, repeated movement, and changing weather conditions while maintaining comfort. 600D is the standard for our gear, 1000D is often used for knee and intense impact areas.

Select Blazen Spirit garments are designed to accommodate CE Level 2–rated armor, which is independently tested to meet established European impact protection standards for energy absorption at key impact zones.
